My laptop is back and I have lots to share with ya'll. But first, back away from pinterest for 2 seconds, because I have a giveaway for ...
I have the second one and a bunch other (all le creuset) and I LOVE them!! They are great for roasting veggies, chicken, salmon, baking pasta, etc. TASTY!!
ReplyDeleteI have one from Le Creuset that is a good size (I don't actually know how big it is) and I use it for EVERYTHING. Soups, sauces, pastas (if you're mixing pasta and sauce in the same pot, it's perfect for that). Basically anything that won't fit in my saucepan.
ReplyDeleteI have a Martha Stewart one from Macys. I use it alot. I love it. I use it for everything from Soup, spaggehti sauce, to roasts and full meals. You can pretty much use it or anything you do in the crockpot. My favorite meal is Itailian Drip beef from Pioneer Women, BEST MEAL EVER and sooo easy!
ReplyDeleteWe got one as a wedding gift. I think it's similar to number 2. It is amazing. It seriously cleans up so easily, even after chili sits in it for days. We cook soups, stews, sauces, etc. They really are worth the money!
ReplyDeleteWe have two Le Creuset and I use them ALL the time.
ReplyDeleteWe started out with a 3.5 quart, but I used it so much and the more I started to experiement, I realized I wanted a larger one, so we moved up to a 4.5 quart this year.
I do almost all my "pot" cooking in one or the other. Soups, stews, red sauce, pork loin, pot roast..
LOVE them, and I think they are 100% worth the monetary investment.
We have a Le Creuset 9 1/2 quart oval roaster. It is a different color than the roaster pictured, but resembles #2. We love ours and use it all of the time. My favorite thing to make in it has to be pot roast with veggies and potatoes. Yum!
ReplyDeleteI have been talking about getting another large round "soup sized" Le Creuset pot for YEARS. One day, I am just going to go crazy & buy one...and I feel "that day" is coming soon.
I have a Lodge dutch oven, that I bought at the factory store where they are made for an amazing price! I love it for pot roast and am searching for more to make in it! I just love it!
ReplyDeleteI also have a Lodge dutch oven and I use it ALL the time! Seriously - I don't know how I got along without it. Made Beef Bourgonion for Christmas dinner in it - make all kinds of soups and stews in it, roasts, chicken, etc... It's a one pot dream!
ReplyDeleteI actually thought these were the mini ones. I don't own a full size one but I own 12 of the mini ones.
ReplyDeleteI make personal pot pies, french onion soup, chili, etc. Straight from oven to table.
I keep meaning to get a full size one, but the little ones are so easy to use and the clean up is a snap.
LOVE mine. Le Creuset was out of my budget, but got the $50 one from Costco....I use it ALL.THE.TIME. It's my new favorite kitchen item and I don't know what I ever did without it. Honest.
ReplyDeleteI got a 7 1/4 quart Le Creuset from Marshall's for $129 (!) about 5 years ago. I use it all the time, for everything. I will use it until I die, and then my great-great grandchildren will use it until they die. It's indestructible.
ReplyDeleteI use it for everything from roasts to soups and even just boiling pasta. LOVE.
