Strands o tissue

I'm loving this image. I'm sorry I cant remember the designer!!
The strands of tissue cut outs look so cute, kinda wanting to incorporate them in my daughter's room makeover..what makeover you ask? Stay tuned..I'll be starting in 3 weeks. This tissue project would cost next to nothing...fishing line and $1 tissue...

Restoration Hardware Kids/Baby

I'll admit, when RH came out with their first kids/baby line, I was a little worried. I kid you not, the entire girls bedding/linens/clothes lines were pepto bismol pink and chocolate brown. It literally hurt my eyes to look at. The boys had baby blue/ chocolate brown, everything, as well.
So you can imagine my delight when they did some renovations and went to their roots. Afterall, Pink and Brown are not restoration hardware colors. They have no expanded the palette, and it's oh so lovely.

Dining Room Progress

It's here! Home Decorators shot me an email saying it'd be another 1.5 months til I received my rug, and they gave me $20 back. So my little heart leaped out of my chest when it arrived this weekend.

Sorry they are so dark! The quality of the rug is very good, it's very soft and plush.

Next up, the windows. They havent had treatments in almost a year. Yikes. So I am going to be bold and make striped black and white roman shades. I'll be ordering the fabric here because the price is right, and I've searched locally and cannot find a wide striped decorators fabric.
So they'll be similiar to these:

I have hints of black and white stripes here and there throughout the house, including my favorite pitcher ever

Target Numeric Stoneware

I've been camping for the last week, now i'm back to work! I'm working with new clients, and putting together some projects for the house.

I stopped by Target today and on an end cap I saw these cuties.

These numeric stoneware canisters are $14-19. By one or them all...I'm thinking about getting the "3" for my dining room.

Faux Zinc Finish

I had seen the beautiful Zinc Dresser from Restoration Hardware in person awhile ago, and it's insanely gorgeous. But not for $1195. Ouch.
In the meantime, over at Freckled Laundry, Jami was mastering a faux zinc technique. She even posted how to videos. I will definitely be doing this. Here's a peak. ( click here  for details )

I cannot remember the last time I was at BB&B. I have a stack of their coupons, probably like you, but just never have a reason to go. Although i am out of my Bona Floor Cleaner...guess I have a reason to go now, and check out these somewhat surprising items:
