  5. My home is cottage/modern, which may sound a little odd. But I love putting things together that wouldn't also "go." I would say my taste are usually very in line with Elle Decor and I would love to get the magazine.

  6. I don't really know what type of style my home is. It could probably really use a makeover! I guess the style would be Baby and kids toys thrown everywhere with piles of laundry.
When we do build our own home I want it to be a rustic, earthy feel lots of wood, exposed beams and wood trim. Browns, greens, and burnt oranges and reds on the walls.

  7. Oh fun! My style is all about comfort, I want people to come in and feel at home. I don't know what my style is called, I like texture and color, mixing traditional pieces with modern elements, like a funky floor lamp next to a traditional leather chair. Just like everyone else my style has been growing and changing with the years and my budget.

  12. Love your blog!
My style is an updated/contemporary mix of cottage and traditional. I love for our home to feel welcoming and comfortable to us as well as guests. We have a one year old son, and I'm sure you relate to how to decoratively store toys and books while still keeping them within reach.

  19. Earlier this week, I wrote down a subscription to Elle Decor Magazine on my wish list. My fiance and I just recently bought our first home so we are in the process of decorating it. I would say our home is earthy modern. I love earth tone colors and love the minimalistic look of modern furniture. I'm slowly working on making my fiance appreciate modern furniture. He is more of a traditionalist so in the end, I think we will probably end up somewhere in the middle. Thanks for the giveaway.

  20. The style of my home is classic contemporary with a touch of glamour. The colors of my home are nuetral with accent colors in chocolate brown and a touch of chartreuse. I completely renovated my home and installed espresso hardwood flooring throughout. My favorite piece, in my house, is my round calcutta marble dining room table that I designed. Everything in my house was done on a budget. The accessories in my home look expensive but they aren't...they are all bargain finds from HomeGoods, TJMaxx, Marshalls and Target...proving good design doesn't have to be expensive...just like your blog! I love Elle Decor and I love your blog!
